Mercantile Barristers is a new type of Commercial Barristers’ Chambers that is located in Gray’s Inn with members that have established practices in commercial litigation, company, construction, property, estates and sports law. We primarily provide full circle legal services on both contentious and non-contentious matters directly for businesses, professionals and high net worth individuals. We also accept instructions on referral from solicitors in the traditional manner.
To assist with our increasing case load and structured expansion we now require an Experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Chambers, the successful candidate will be specifically responsible for working in conjunction with a Barrister to maintain full litigation case management from pre-action conduct through to trial and appeal where necessary in compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules.
This role would suit an enthusiastic litigator with ability to work in a team with Counsel. Candidates must not be set in their ways and should be IT literate with great written and oral communication skills with no less than 5 years PQE. They should also have a smart professional appearance, friendly manner, be very flexible, innovative and forward thinking.
We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience plus a performance related bonus.
