Legal Business Development Assistant
Mercantile Barristers is a new Commercial Barristers’ Chambers based in the heart of Legal London at Gray’s Inn.
Our members have established specialist practices in commercial litigation, company, construction, planning, property, private client and sports law. We provide full circle legal services on both contentious and non-contentious matters to businesses, professionals and high net worth individuals.
To assist with our increasing caseload and structured expansion we are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
The position will primarily involve driving the business development function by:
- Successfully converting inbound telephone and digital enquiries into fee paying instructions.
- Making outbound telemarketing and relationship building calls to existing and prospective clients.
- Undertaking market research and supporting Chambers digital and non-digital marketing programmes.
- Participating in the organisation of Chambers seminars, webinars and outreach events and undertaking client/contact follow up after the events.
- Maintaining and Managing sales pipelines using a CRM system.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B, B2C and/or telesales experience.
- Robust attention to detail and good written and oral communication skills.
- Proactivity, flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters in a busy environment.
- Clear speaking voice and a warm personality.
- Smart professional appearance, friendly manner, be very flexible, innovative and forward thinking.
Salary
Basic of £20,000 – £24,000 (£40,000 to £50,000 OTE).
